Our Little STEAMers Preschool is based on the Montessori principles that children learn best when they are given the freedom to move, to choose their own work, and follow their interests, operating within boundaries that include respect for themselves, others, and their environment. In Little STEAMers Preschool students learn through guided exploration and build skills with independent hands-on learning. Using Montessori methods, our teachers progress students’ exploration skills and use a complete preschool curriculum to develop students’ understanding of STEM concepts (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and communication (language arts & literacy).

Fee: $1,064.25 per semester for South Dakota Discovery Center Members

Our Gala features:
-a meet and greet with authors, Paul Horsted, Becky Blue, Patty Wetterling, and Billy Mills.
-Mocktails
-White Spruce string quartet
-A formal sit-down dinner by Minervas
-Honor for the Elemen Family Foundation
-Video from Billy Mills & a tease for his full talk on Saturday

Literary Event:
-Inspiring presentations by renowned authors
-Book signings
-A vibrant book-themed vendor fair
-Light breakfast and lunch by Minervas

Fee: $100 for Gala & Literary Festival; $50 for Festival only

Join us for a night of laughs benefiting Almost Home Canine Rescue!
Comedian Clay Foley is a former cruelty investigator and avid animal rescuer. He travels the country raising money for all sizes and types of animal charities.
